Winchester’s volleyball team improved its record to 16-3 after defeating the Bulldogs 3-1 at Centerville Tuesday.
The Lady Falcons won the first set 25-17 but opened the door for the Bulldogs in the second losing 25-22.
Winchester took complete control in the third set winning 25-11, but Centerville would not go down without a fight.
The Falcons were forced to claw their way back from a 22-17 deficit to bring home the victory in the fourth set 25-23.
Winchester is now 5-1 in the TEC. The Lady Falcons travel to Richmond tonight to face Seton, and will play Randolph Southern in the semifinal round of the Randolph County Tournament on Saturday at Monroe Central.
