Emily Lynn McCoy is the daughter of Bob and Shelly McCoy. She is a 2019 graduate of Winchester Community High School. Emily is a member of the White River Blue Ribbon 4-H Club, Randolph County Junior Leaders and 4-H K9ers. Emily’s 4-H projects include: consumer clothing, dog agility, dog obedience, dog showmanship, floriculture, foods, health, junior leaders, public speaking and Randolph County Heritage. While in high school Emily participated in advanced choir, baccalaureate committee, black pack, bicentennial committee, class officer, district solo and ensemble, early college ambassadors, earth club, English academic team, Farmland friends church worship team, FCA, FCCLA, FFA fine arts academic team, golden tones, history academic team, history club, homecoming committee, interdisciplinary academic team, Indiana yearly meeting youth representative, key club, Lilly Endowment scholarship competition, model legislature, National Honor Society, PAWS volunteer, SADD club, senior Boiler Vet camp, Spanish club, spring musical, state solo and ensemble, student council, sweethearts committee, tennis Toys for tots, Unchained praises and Youth salute. Emily’s future plans are to attend Ball State University Honors College to study exercise science with a pre-occupational therapy concentration. She then plans to complete a doctorate of occupational therapy studies at the University of Indianapolis and return to Randolph County to practice.
