Overdose awareness rally offers prayers, support

A rally Wednesday evening on the east lawn of the Randolph County Courthouse in recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day attracted more than 200 people offering support for addicts and praying for life solutions.

    "We're here to lift up those in need, to give the county hope and to be overcomers," said event emcee David Cassity, Spartanburg Methodist Church pastor.
