The Randolph County Health Department continues to work with the Indiana State Department of Health and OptumServe in order to make testing available to all Hoosiers as Governor Eric Holcomb attempts to open Indiana’s economy.
Criteria for testing are upper respiratory illness, shortness of breath, fever, loss of smell and/or taste, muscle aches, or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19, as well as those who have been in contact with a known positive COVID patient. Those desiring a test must also reside in Indiana.
Those coming in to get tested are required to wear a mask.
The testing will be on the west side of the Winchester Field House Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m to 8:00 p.m. until further notice. Patients must register in order to obtain an appointment for testing. Registration can be done online at https://lhi.care/covidtesting. Patients without internet access or those registering minors for testing will need to register by phone at (888) 634-1116.
No walk-ins are allowed. Patients will need to bring a photo ID and insurance information. Insurance will be charged, but there will be no co-pay. If patients are without insurance, there will be no charge to the patient.
