Steven Johnson, Owner of Iron Wolf Martial Arts in Portland, Indiana, was recently promoted to 7th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo by Senior Grandmaster Larry Delaney.
Mr. Johnson has been involved in Martial Arts for over 30 years.
In order to achieve rank in Taekwondo, a student must be able to demonstrate proficiency in their present rank and rank going for, including forms, techniques, history, board breaking, and sparring.
Over the years, Mr. Johnson has went to many seminars and trained to excel in his martial arts from legends such as his martial art friends and actors, Bill “Superfoot” Wallace, Joe Lewis, Guru Danny Inosanto, and Geoff Meed.
Through his training, Mr. Johnson has been able to win many awards nationally and internationally, including two World Championships, three Gold medals, and earning a Doctorate Degree in Martial Arts Philosophy, in addition to other high-ranking belts in other Martial Arts styles.
Mr. Johnson has also been inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
