Several local businesses have banded together to provide some lucky couple a low-cost, nearly trouble-free Randolph County wedding. The prize package for the first ever Randolph County Wedding Giveaway provides nearly everything a betrothed couple needs from the marriage license to honeymoon accommodations.

The estimated value of the complete wedding prize package is $8,000.

"Everything you need for a wedding is available right here in Randolph County," said Webb Jewellers co-owner Richard Collins. "There are businesses here that some people may not be aware of to help out with your wedding needs."

Collins said the names of three entrants will be drawn Friday. The three finalists will participate in a local version of The Newlywed Game Saturday, Aug. 5 at the Towne Square Cinema, downtown Winchester. The winner of the game show will receive the complete wedding package.

He said it is possible, until Friday morning, to submit an entry for the giveaway at any participating business.

"You can sign up at more than one location if you want," Collins said. "In fact, we encourage it."
